From understanding how your home electrical and plumbing works to changing face plates and adding extra plug points, the Basic Workshops provide information on basic electrical and plumbing repairs and improvements that you can do on your own. These workshops are not a replacement for hiring a professional contractor, but will provide valuable insight into what you can and cannot do in your own home. You will also learn how to replace a light switch cover, update a single power outlet to a double plug, and ways to unblock drains or perform fault finding.
We supply all the tools and materials for the workshops. Only Joburg and Pretoria host the Basic Workshops at this stage.
