DIY DIVAS Advanced Power Tools Workshop
At the DIY Divas advanced power tool workshops on this Saturday and Sunday the DIY Divas and DIY Guys got to grips using a variety of power tools, one of which was the compact and powerful Dremel DSM 20.
The Dremel DSM 20 might be small, but it is a powerful tool that can be used in place of an angle grinder when cutting tiles and as an alternative to a circular saw for cutting timber and board.
At the advanced power tool workshop the guys and gals used the Dremel DSM 20 to cut curves in ceramic and porcelain tiles, and a wide range of other materials.
There are more than a few DIY enthusiasts who try to avoid using an angle grinder by any means possible. They are loud and scary and can instill a sense of fear into even a more seasoned DIY-er. But the Dremel DSM 20 is lightweight, easy to use and won't wake up the neighbours if you want to start your tiling project early on the weekend !
It's the perfect power tool for the DIY Diva who needs to get stuck into home improvement and maintenance projects, or the DIY Guy who doesn't need to impress his friends.
The Dremel DSM 20 can be fitted with a variety of cutting disks for a wide range of materials; from cutting board and timber, PVC or plastics, aluminium, IBR, stone tiles, or ceramic and porcelain tiles.
The Dremel DSM 20 is priced at R1669.00 if you buy online from www.tools4wood.co.za.
