Makeover Magic Workshop
Tanya Joel attended a DIY Divas Career Workshop that was a life-changing experience. With her background in architecture and interior design, Tanya realised that she could put her dreams into action utilising her new-found skills.

Tanya plans to present a Makeover Magic workshop that will include the following:
The art of upcyling, repurposing, bargain-hunting and using what you already have to DIY your home from drab to fab.
• Zero to hero: basic power tools and woodworking skills
• Creating unique and affordable pieces by thinking out of the box
• Making the most of your space: functionality and practicality
• Decreasing the clutter: clever storage solutions
• Shopping savvy: where, when and how to get the most bang for your buck
• Choosing the right paint for the job
• Creative paint and finishing techniques
• Choosing the right fabric for the job
• Working with colour
• Developing and working with themes
• Small details – big results
• Insider design and decorating tips and tricks
The workshop will be presented on a Saturday morning over a 3-month period (one morning per month).
