What the Divas have to say
At the end of every workshop we ask you - the Divas - what you thought.
Here are some of the responses that we have received for our DIY Divas and Easy DIY workshops.
I attended the Ottoman course this past Saturday and what a load of fun. It was brilliant and going to suggest it to all my friends

I just want to say that Angela and I thoroughly enjoyed the course on Saturday – it was amazing (and scary) to actually hold and use a drill within 10 minutes of walking in, but Nancy was incredibly informative, supportive and patient and she made us feel totally at ease with the equipment. I cannot believe how much I learnt in such a short time and cannot wait for the next course. Angela and I have already decided to sign up for the rest of the courses as we also had great feedback from the other ladies regarding the electrical course etc. THANK YOU so much for putting together this program which empowers and informs us ladies!!!!!

I have been so busy since the workshop but I promised myself that I would contact you. I just wanted to tell you that the course was the best thing I have EVER done! I absolutely loved every single second and Sylvie was awesome!
I am a power tool addict and have looked at your DIY projects extensively and bought myself books on the subject – I cannot wait to get started and get practising!!!
Huge thumbs up to you and your team for offering this!!! Loved it! Will be back at every workshop I can be at!

Not only on empowerment aspects. It's more than just money saving too. Not having to wait for someone to help or having to rely on busy friends is a big plus in addition to knowing what to ask for at the hardware store, without being taken for a ride. The DIY Divas have interpersonal skills that make everyone feel at home and the introduction to what is new and useful is most welcome. Why do things the hard way when there are easier ways to do it?

We want more workshops more often!

I attended your workshop in Umhlanga on Saturday the 13th of March. It was amazing. I have had so much fun and learnt so much. I am keen to attend the next one. There were 10 ladies in the class who all said the same thing…’why is the next one only in May?’ We are all really keen and it would be great if you can have the next one sooner. What is the possibility of this!
